01 / 06File size
20 GB per file. Stem packs fit.
A 24-bit / 48 kHz multi-track stem pack of a 4-minute beat with 18 stems and dry+wet bounces can push 4–6 GB. Alva accepts each individual file up to 20 GB — no chunking, no splitting into parts, no "WeTransfer link in the email". Files are served from a global CDN with unlimited bandwidth, so a buyer in Berlin pulls at line speed whether they're the 1st buyer or the 500th.
02 / 06Commercial rights
License keys per sale.
Upload a pool of licence codes (or let Alva auto-generate them). Tag a Shopify product variant to the matching pool — non-exclusive MP3 lease, non-exclusive WAV, trackouts, exclusive. Every purchase pulls the next unused code, emails it to the buyer, logs it against the order, and marks the pool down. Refund on a chargeback? The key auto-revokes.
03 / 06Made-to-order
Custom beats, delivered from the admin.
A buyer wants a custom beat — 92 BPM, A minor, dark trap, reference track attached. Collect the brief at checkout. The order routes into a production queue in the Shopify admin. The producer attaches the final mix to that specific order in Alva, hits send, and Alva fires the branded download email automatically. No separate Dropbox link, no copy-paste.
04 / 06Fraud protection
Stop stolen-card orders stealing your catalogue.
Sample packs are a prime chargeback target — stolen cards, re-uploaders, mass buys before the card is flagged. Alva scores every order against 40+ signals via Shopify's Risk API. High-risk orders auto-hold before the file leaves. Approve or reject in one click. Across the Alva merchant base, the false-positive rate sits at 0.4%.
05 / 06POS
In-person sales from the merch table.
Selling USB packs at a gig? Ring up a Shopify POS order on an iPad, capture the fan's email, and Alva delivers the digital bundle to their inbox instantly. POS orders skip fraud review — the money is already in the till. Producers who tour or play conventions can offer a physical + digital bundle without a second checkout flow.
06 / 06Branded mail
Emails from your producer name, not Shopify's.
On paid plans, send delivery emails from a custom domain you control — packs@producername.com, not shop@myshopify.com. Buyers see the producer's brand in their inbox, deliverability improves, and the email template carries your logo, palette, and 14 dynamic variables including buyer first name, pack title, and licence key.
