Per-file limit
There is no practical per-file limit. The upload form accepts any single file up to 1 TB, in any binary format — PDF, ZIP, MP4, WAV, EXE, PSD, blend, indd, and so on. Files up to 100 MB upload to Alva's secure storage in a single request; anything larger is split into parts and sent as a multipart upload automatically, so a 12 GB archive goes up the same way as a 12 MB PDF.
Plan-tier storage allotment
Each shop has a separate total-storage allotment that scales with plan tier. The free plan covers a small starter library; paid plans raise the ceiling. For the current per-plan numbers, see which Alva features require a paid plan.
Practical advice for very large files
Multi-gigabyte files take customers a long time to download, and a transfer that is interrupted part-way usually has to start again. For anything over a few gigabytes, consider splitting the archive into parts of 1–2 GB and attaching them to the product as separate files, so each download finishes in minutes and a failure only costs one part. Ask customers to download on a computer with a stable connection and to keep it awake until the transfer completes.
