Notify the customer when their personalized file is ready

When you upload a personalized file to a pending order, Alva Digital Downloads automatically sends the delivery email with the download link — no separate "ready" notification button to click.

Steps to notify the customer

1. Open the pending order

In the Alva Digital Downloads admin, click Personalized orders. Click the order whose status is Pending upload — that's the order waiting for your finished file.

2. Upload the finished file

Drag the finished file onto the upload area, or click Upload to pick it from your computer. Alva Digital Downloads attaches the file to the purchase, generates the customer ZIP, and sends the delivery email automatically — no extra click needed.

3. Confirm the email log

Open the order's Email log tab and confirm a Personalized product ready entry was recorded against the customer's address. The order's status flips to Completed at the same time.
